Me & My Ride



This is a video of me and my ride. I personally do not do Drag Racing, but it looks like a lot of fun. Speedtv has a drag racing contest called PINKS marathon on www.speedtv.com Nov 23, 2006. Racing is one of the best thrills in the world because it seems to slow your heartbeat and increase adrenaline. Racing for your pink slip is the ultimate thrill, because not only do you race to win, but you race for your ride. These guys must have plenty of money to take the risk of losing their rides or plenty of confidence that they will win. Well, tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, the race is on!

JVC GR-D347u Camcorder

This Christmas I received many presents. One present I bought myself. I bought a JVC GR-D347u DV Camcorder from Wal-mart. My digital camera that I paid $200 for about 3 years ago died on me, so I needed a new camera. I decided to search for a digital camcorder so I could record video and save it to my computer and maybe even make a DVD. I wasn't sure what kind of camcorder I wanted, because there are so many good options from Sony, Cannon, and JVC to Hitachi and many others. I think Sony's supposed to be the best, but the price is too high for me at $500- $600. I decided since I hadn't operated a camcorder since the old ones that weigh down on your shoulder and use VHS tapes, I'd better get one for a beginner, since I never owned a camcorder. So far, I really like this camera and hope to do some good videos with the help of my friends and post them on YouTube. I also need to find a good program to edit videos so I can create a more professional look.

Air Hogs Sharpshooter Battery

So, I have an Air Hogs Sharpshooter and I enjoy flying it, but the battery takes 30 min. to charge and only last 4-5 min. for flying. I decided to open it up and see what battery I currently have, so I can get a better one. The battery that is in the Air Hogs Sharpshooter is a 3.7V 140mAh LiPo battery. Now, I have to decide what battery to buy. I have seen 400mAh to 700mAh batteries. Hopefully, I will get the right battery to extend my flight time.

My new iPad 2012

Yes, it's been awhile since I blogged last. I will try to update more often. Well, right now I'm blogging from my new iPad. Why did I get one? Well supposedly, tablets are the future of computing and I didn't want to be left behind. Also, this is much cheaper than a new MacBook Pro. I have the new iPad or what some will call the iPad 3 and my wife has the iPad 2. I cannot really see a difference between the two devices, but future apps will work on my iPad and may not on the iPad 2. So, what do I use it for? I use my iPad for blogging, simple photo editing, email, gaming, streaming videos, and sometimes controlling a PC. Instead of buying an Xbox or PS3, I'm happy to game on the iPad. No, I'm not a serious gamer. If I were, I would use a desktop PC. While my iPad has not replaced my MacBook, I am hoping it will in the future.
